Booking terms and conditions
These terms apply when you register a delegate place at ECET 2026. Please read them before you pay — you are asked to accept them at checkout.
Last updated 10 August 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
Your booking is a contract with Creative Chemical Solutions Limited (company number 12664386, registered office 47 Halkyn Road, Hoole, Chester, CH2 3QD, UK), referred to below as “we” or “CCS”.
The contract is formed when we confirm your registration by email, not when you submit the form.
2. What a delegate place includes
A place at ECET 2026 on Wednesday 28 October 2026 at Ardoe House Hotel, South Deeside Road, Blairs, Aberdeen AB12 5YP, including access to the keynote and all technical sessions, lunch, refreshments, and the networking sessions built into the day.
It does not include travel, parking or accommodation. Delegates arrange their own.
3. Prices and tax
- Early bird — £300
- General admission — £350
- Student / unemployed — £50. Proof of student or unemployed status may be requested by the organiser.
No VAT is charged on delegate rates. The price shown is the total amount payable.
Discounted rates are offered in good faith. We may ask for reasonable proof of eligibility, and if it is not provided we may ask you to pay the difference or treat the booking as cancelled under clause 5.
Prices are held at the rate shown when you book. An early bird rate is only available until its stated deadline.
4. Payment
Payment is taken in full at the time of booking, by card, through Stripe. We do not see or store your card details.
Stripe emails you a payment receipt, and we email you a separate booking confirmation. Neither is a VAT invoice, for the reason given in clause 3.
Your place is not held until payment succeeds. Where a payment method settles after a delay, your place is confirmed only once the funds clear.
5. Cancellations, refunds and transfers
If you cancel, the following applies. These are the same terms shown on the registration page and in the costs and cancellation policy PDF.
- Cancellations must be made in writing by email to the organiser.
- Cancellations received after 28 September 2026 are refunded less a £100 cancellation fee.
- No refund is available after 12 October 2026.
- You may transfer your booking to another person up to 7 days before the event, subject to the organiser confirming the transfer.
- Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days.
Send cancellations and transfer requests to stephen.heath@creativechemicalsolutions.uk.com. For a transfer, give us the replacement delegate’s name and email so we can update the delegate list and badge.
Because this is a ticket for an event on a specific date, the cancellation rights that normally apply to online purchases do not apply here. The terms above are what govern your booking.
6. If the programme or the event changes
The technical programme is published in good faith. Speakers and session times occasionally change for reasons outside our control, and we may substitute a speaker or adjust the running order without it affecting your booking.
If we cancel the event, or move it to a different date you cannot make, you may choose either a transfer of your fee to the rescheduled date or a full refund of the fee you paid. Our liability in that situation is limited to the fee, and does not extend to travel or accommodation you have booked — please make sure yours is refundable or insured.
7. At the event
Delegates must follow the venue’s health, safety and security rules. We may refuse admission to, or remove, anyone behaving in a way that threatens the safety or reasonable enjoyment of others, without a refund.
Photography or recording may take place for CCS’s own reporting and promotion. Tell us on the day if you would rather not appear and we will do our best to accommodate it.
Presentation materials remain the property of their authors. Do not record, reproduce or redistribute them without the author’s permission.
8. Liability
The symposium is a technical forum. Views expressed by speakers are their own. Nothing presented is engineering advice for your specific asset, and you should take your own professional advice before acting on it.
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability arising from your booking is limited to the fee you paid, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or business.
Delegates are responsible for their own belongings.
9. Your personal data
How we handle the details you give us is set out in our privacy notice.
If you book on behalf of other delegates, please make sure they know you are giving us their name and email, and that they can read that notice.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
If any clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest continue to apply.
